somethings wrong with the world today

Have you ever wanted to hear a kind word from a friend and all you got was a short hello as they passed you by, nearly not noticeing what troubled state you are in?
Was there ever a time that i should have shown more kindness to you? Shared a smile, or just a few more seconds with you on my mind?

Any way, there are many people that do great things every day in small ways, and never get thanked for it. So what? you ask. Here is what, a friend of mine and I have started to do; Give them what they deserve, an Appreciation Day. Today was our friend Chewie's day, I made him a cake (well really i made two cakes, but one was not so good, so i won't claim it) and we passed out little papers for everyone to pin onto them that said it was his day, and my friend, Tink, (no realy, i have a friend Chewie and another friend Tink, they are real people,) well tink made posters that said the It was his turn to have something done for him instead of by him. He is always wearing Camo and so the posters and the papers had camo on them.

A couple of weeks ago it was Do's (as in Do a deer, a female deer,) day. She is always helping people in her quiet little ways and is so much like a church mouse that someone had to point out that she deserves more. So we all wore homemade clothes and we had a very bohimian cake and we made her a crown, and it was just to cool.

ok, so now on to the thing that is wrong with the world, and i am not an exeption. We fail to do small things to thank our friends. We sometimes even fail to notice them, and that is just horrible. I am trying to thank, and compliment my friends more and let them know that they are worth everything to me, so . . . (here is the really selfish part) I know how it feels to be left out, and IT STINKS! so i don't like feeling that way and i am sure that these people don't either, and i am sure that no one does, and I wish that i could do more, but there is that line of friendly and comeing across as a freaky-stocker-person, and i've crossed that line once or twice (and probably more times that i just don't know about.) so, share a smile, or have an appreciation day for someone that you appreciate and the world will be a better place
